Mineral Oil; the unsung homecare hero.

Food and pharmacy grade mineral oil has hundreds of household uses. It's food safe (obvsly), pet friendly, low allergen, and has no scent. It's unique in that it never polymerizes (gets hard and/or tacky), and unlike vegetable oils, it won't go rancid.

Squeaky door? Mineral oil on the hinges.

Wood/Bamboo cutting board looking dull and blech? Get some mineral oil on that thing.

Can't use that dozen eggs before they spoil? Put a thin coat of mineral oil on them.

Leather belt looking dry and worn out? Mineral oil to the rescue.
