  • We’re a polyam and leather family in the Richmond, VA area with extensive and varied backgrounds in trades, experiences, expertise, and abilities. When you hire us, you get the whole family. We work together to meet the needs of our communities, one job at a time.

  • For our normal trip charge, we go anywhere that’s 30 minutes from the center of Richmond. If you’re outside of this area, contact us and we may be able to work something out with a mileage fee.

  • Let us know what your concerns or needs are and we will do our best to meet them. We are better prepared than most household repair companies and contractors to do so.

    For example, we prefer to use quieter tools whenever possible. We will let you know what to expect as far as noise is concerned, and when to expect it.

    We pride ourselves on our professionalism; the state of your home will be met judgement-free and with discretion.

    We do need to be able to readily access the area to be serviced. If we have to clear the area first, that may impact the price of the job.

  • The services we offer are valuable, done in a timely manner, and with high quality. We do price accordingly.

    That said, we’re fully aware that the economy is crazy and people in our communities are in all kinds of financial situations. We want to work with you. Depending on the circumstances, that might mean extending payment terms, sliding-scale pricing, barter/trade, arranging payment plans, securing collateral, etc. Any such arrangements are made at our discretion, without judgement or lots of questions.

  • What you have out and do in your home is your business, not ours. We are professionals and what goes on in your home will be met judgement-free and with discretion.

    We do ask you to keep in mind that consent always matters, so please don’t directly involve us without discussing it with us first. The visit scheduling form has an area to start that discussion. Basic displays of protocol and use of terms of respect with us are perfectly fine.

    For example, if someone in the house we’re visiting has a special name you use with them, you’re welcome to use it when we’re around. If you want us to use it as well, please discuss that with us first.

    If we’ve done something while visiting your home that has made you uncomfortable, we especially want to hear about it. We are each committed to growth and learning and will listen to you.
